Liriomyza trifolii  is a major leaf mining pest of many vegetable and floriculture crops due to its short generation time, high dispersal capability, polyphagous habit, high reproductive rate, larvae that are protected from topical pesticide applications, and development of resistance to insecticides.  We have worked for many years on this pest and have some new images to share taken by Daniel Klittich.  Please feel free to use them for educational purposes.
