We were counting a pesticide trial today comparing several bio-rational miticides and we found this predatory mite feeding on on adult Two-spotted Spider Mite.  The video was shot with an iPhone through the objective of a microscope so the quality is not all that great but you can see movement in the digestive track of the predator as it feeds!  It is hard to make out but the predator actually has a leg of the spider mite and is sucking out it’s hemolymph from there.
